Honourable Chairperson, respected teachers, and my
dear friends,
I would like to thank Mr. Ale for giving me the chance
to say something here. I am here to support the statement " Junk food
should be banned".
Everybody should be aware of the food which we take.
Health is the most valuable property. We know that the health of anyone is
determined by the food they eat. So, there is a strong relationship between
food and the health of people.
Honourable Chairperson, there are various problems
with junk food. The main problem is that they have high satisfactory value.
That is why, so many people consume it even though they know it is not healthy.
Another problem is that junk food tends to replace other more nutritious food.
Similarly, an increase in consumption of junk food is directly associated with
the increase in obesity, heart diseases, high blood pressure, certain types of

Most of us have read or heard about Venus flytrap, but
few of us refer to this little plant as carnivorous. Since carnivorous means
flesh eating animals like lions, tigers, wolves or other mammals that love
meat. We seldom connect this word to plants. There are hundreds of species of
carnivorous plants and many of them are native to United States. Many have
blooms and beautiful flowers and the plant itself ranges in size from inches to
large vines growing over 50 feet tall. The flower has a very important function
and serves as a decoy by attracting all kinds of insects. The flower itself
can't trap or disengage its prey but one must realize that without the flower's
interaction, the plant at times wouldn't be able to attract enough prey to
survive itself. Botanists are still trying to follow and understand the
evolution of these carnivorous plants over the past thousands of years. How
could a plant evolve into the carnivore family with a digestive system that
allows it to eat meat or intoxicate its prey?

Dear Roji,
You will be glad to know that I have done my final papers well. Though I expect good grades, the result is awaited yet. In your previous letter, you were curious to know what I intended to do after my examination. Well, as you know, I like reading literature and have been keenly interested in English literature, I would love to do something exciting that matches my interest and to utilize the time and make it a fruitful one. So I together with a few friends of the same interest, have decided to launch a small magazine. Don't be shocked as it will not a kind of magazine you see in the market with the glossy cover page and good printing. It will simply be a small children magazine containing stories written by children only. In fact, we have already begun working on this small project of ours. It may sound odd but it certainly is creative work by which we can at least tell the people of our locality what children are capable of. I need your good wishes for it. You can also send your writing if you are interested.
