Dadeldhura has a mountainous landscape. It is the main door for the hilly districts of the Far Western part of Nepal. The spoken language is Dotyal, a variety of Nepali language and the majority of inhabitants are Hindu. The district is entirely rural, and has yet to be modernized. This district is quite different from other districts of Nepal due to its own geography, population, culture, natural flora and fauna, etc.
