Write a description of the two villages making comparison based on the information given below.
Bhujung Village and Bhada Village are two distinct villages with their own unique characteristics and attractions.
Bhujung Village is a typical Gurung village located in Lamjung at an altitude of approximately 1700 meters. It is home to around 500 households, with the majority of the population being Gurung. The village is renowned as a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a chance to experience Gurung culture, warm hospitality, and friendliness. The village stands out with its clean and authentic look, featuring mud and stone houses topped with tile roofs. The picturesque landscape includes stunning mountain views, beautiful terrace farmlands, and lush green forests. Additionally, Bhujung Village provides homestay services, allowing tourists to immerse themselves in the local culture.
On the other hand, Bhada Village is a Tharu Homestay settlement situated in Kailali, around 12 kilometers away from the district headquarters. The village consists of approximately 200 houses and offers a distinct experience of Tharu lifestyle and culture. It is also a tourist destination, with the best time to visit being from mid-September to mid-December. One of the main attractions of Bhada Village is its diverse Tharu cuisine, which includes dishes like Dhikri, Kheriya, Bariya, Panjra, crab, Ghonghi, pork, and mahogany liquor. Cultural dance performances, such as Lathwa, Jhumra, Maghauta, and Sakhiya, add to the vibrant atmosphere of the village. Visitors can partake in homestay experiences, staying with families such as Joginya and Sahadeva. Other attractions in the vicinity include a lake and the Rameshwar Temple.
Bhujung Village is known for its Gurung culture and beautiful scenery, while Bhada Village offers a glimpse into Tharu lifestyle, delicious cuisine, and cultural dances. Both villages provide homestay options for an authentic experience.
