Modifying Comparatives
Showing Big Differences:
To highlight significant differences, we use modifiers like "much," "so much," "a lot," "even," or "far" with comparative adjectives.
Example: Sales in July were a lot higher than sales in June.
Showing Small Differences:
To indicate minor differences, we utilize modifiers such as "slightly," "a little," "a bit," "a little bit," or "not much" with comparative adjectives.
Example: The number of registrations has been slightly lower than we expected.
